TRUTH YOU CAN GROOVE TO

Bianca Grooves is smooth neo-soul, retro-funk, and sultry blues — grown woman soul that’s raw and real, with depth from lived experience and a flow that moves your body, mind, and soul.
“…a mesmerizing blend of soulful grooves and jazzy undertones that will transport you: from the moment the first notes hit your ears, you're drawn into lush melodies and infectious rhythms that beg you to sway along.”

At 40, I asked myself, “If the world ended tomorrow, what would I regret not doing?” The answer was clear — music.

Music has always been a part of me — the one thing that’s always felt right. It’s where I feel most myself, creative and fully alive. Life isn’t passive. You can do anything at any age. You can start again. You can follow that little spark inside that whispers, “what if I did this?

I started out singing jazz standards, but when I began writing my own songs, I found the soul and the groove I’d been searching for — and I haven’t stopped since. My inspiration spans decades: the minimalism of Miles Davis in the ’50s, Nina Simone’s soul in the ’60s, Bill Withers and Stevie Wonder’s funk in the ’70s, bold ’80s hip-hop like RUN-DMC and Salt-N-Pepa, the smooth jazz-hop of Mos Def in the ’90s, and all the pop bounce that followed.

Music is about energy, connection, and flow — that heartbeat between players that makes the groove alive. I’ve been lucky to collaborate with incredible musicians: Clifford Carter (James Taylor), Larry Saltzman (Simon & Garfunkel), Joe Bonadio (Sting), Marc Shulman (Suzanne Vega), and Jeff Allen (Avril Lavigne). I’ve also worked with Sammy Wags, Chris Conte, Malcolm Gold, Jeff Barone, and many others who’ve enriched my music.

Over the years, my songs have been covered and produced by other artists — including legendary producer Bob Rock — but the real magic comes from connecting with listeners who find themselves inside the groove.

Because that’s what it’s all about — not just making music, but moving souls.
